Danish potato open-face sandwich

Easy yet delicious danish open sandwich for the lunch table, typical Danish
1 Serving

  • 2-3 Pre-boiled potatoes
  • Roasted onions
  • Red onion
  • Mayonnaise
  • Rye bread
  • Butter
  • Chives
  • Salt
  • Black pepper, freshly ground

1) Add butter on the bread in a thin layer

Slice the potatoes, and put on top of bread, add mayonnaise and roasted onions.

Garnish with sliced chopped chives and sliced red onion, salt and freshly grounded black pepper

Serves with a Akvavit ( snaps ) and beer
