Fish filet with shrimp, asparagus, mayo and caviar

This is a very popular open-faced sandwich on the Danish lunch table, this sandwich is called “Stjerneskud” directly translated “Shooting Stars”.
1 Servings

  • 1 Store bought breaded fish filet
  • 1 tsp Mayo
  • 1 tbsp White asparagus, from a glass, sliced
  • 1 tbsp Shrimps
  • 1 tsp Salmon roe, or other caviar , what you prefer
  • ½ Slice of rye bread
  • Butter
  • Black pepper, freshly grounded, to taste
  • Lemon, sliced

1) Butter the bread

Add the fish filet on top, add mayo, sliced asparagus, shrimps and then caviar

Garnish with crest
