Bacon, pork chop sandwich

Great and so tasty sandwich, enjoy warm or cold , both is delicious .
2 Servings

  • 2 thick pork chops, (no bone)
  • 6 slices of bacon
  • 4 tsp sweet hot mustard
  • 2 ciabatta roles, can be ciabatta baguettes
  • 2 small handfuls of lamb's lettuce
  • 4 slices of favourite cheese
  • Salt
  • Black pepper, Freshly grounded

Pre-heat oven on 200℃

Season pork chops on both sides with salt and black pepper and set aside.

Cook bacon till golden and crisp and set aside.

Cook the pork chops in the left over bacon fat, depending on the size, 3-5 min on each side ( maybe more ), set aside and let it rest for 2-3 min. Keep warm.

While pork chops are resting, spread sweet and hot mustard on the both half’s on each of the rolls, top with favourite cheese on both half’s on each rolls. Put on baking sheet and let it melt in the oven .

Butterfly the pork chops, so you get two same size, but thinner pieces.

Top bottom rolls with lamb's lettuce and butterflied pork chops, and more freshly ground black pepper if desired. Add top of the roll and serve with chips (crisp) and a delicious dip for the chips.
