Brunch burger


Breakfast or lunch today, June 25, 2015Get a good solid breakfast meal for a lazy Saturday or a great Sunday lunch

  • 500 g ground beef
  • 4 eggs
  • Hellman's Light Mayonnaise
  • green leaf lettuce leaves
  • 1 fresh jalapeño, thinly sliced
  • 4 burger buns
  • ketchup
  • 2 tbsp butter
1) Form 4 meat patties of ground meat, use a small glass to make holes in the middle of the beef patty, big enough to have a whole egg in. If a leftover meat make another meat patty.
Heat butter in a non-stick pan until hot almost smoking. Brown the meat patties on both sides before cracking the egg in to the whole, turn down the heat and cook the egg til the egg white is almost white and firm, then flip over and cook for 1 min more.
Spread the mayonnaise on buns top and bottom, layer bottom bun with lettuce beef, ketchup and freshly sliced jalapeños, top with top bun and eat.
