Dinner tonight, September 15, 2014
Great spicy burgers, fast and easy to make.
4 Servings

  • 1 ¼ lbs. ground sirloin
  • ½ teaspoon hot sauce
  • ½ cup diced white onion
  • 2 teaspoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon cajun seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon cajun seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 4 lettuce leaves

1) Combine ground beef, hot sauce, onion, ketchup, 1 tablespoon cajun seasoning, worcestershire, salt and pepper to taste if desired.

Divide into 4 balls, and flatten to patties.

Place patties on grill, and grill 5 minutes per side or until done.

While patties are cooking, combine mayo, and 1 teaspoon cajun seasoning.

During last 4 minutes of cooking time for patties, lay slice of cheese on top of each patty.

Spread seasoned mayo onto insides of buns, and place patties on top, and top with lettuce and tomato slices.

Notes: Instead of normal lettuce , i chose a mix of different lettuces leaves and carrots, you can buy bags already pre-cut. Be aware that if you use Tony’s Creole Seasoning its very salty, so I recommend to use another creole seasoning, if you can recommend other brand please write a comment.
