Chicken and broccoli with a hint of bacon


Dinner tonight, 3 May, 2017
Delicious, tasty and healthy, sprinkled with low fat cheese . You can serve it with white rice .
4-6 servings

  • 700 grams Broccoli, if frozen , thawed
  • 200 grams Bacon
  • 6 chicken thighs, without bone
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 4 tbsp. Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • salt
  • hot smoked paprika
  • 1 handful shredded cheese

1) Pre heat oven 175℃ / 350℉

Cook bacon to crisp and set aside .

In a large bowl mix oile with onion powder, garlic powder, bacon ( a bit of the fat too ) and broccoli. Stir until all broccoli is covered. Transfere to a large frying pan so it covers the bottom.

Place chicken skin side up, on top of the broccoli, sprinkle with salt and paprika. Bake for 50 min. Take out and sprinkle with cheese and cook for another 10 min.

Notes: Serve with with rice .
