Creamed fennel and potatoes

Side dish tonight, November 29, 2015
The most delicious side dish for any beefy dish. Will with guarantee be the go to dish for any dinner table, Very easy to make
2 servings
  • 2 cups heavy cream, (maybe more )
  • ½ fennel bulb, finely sliced
  • 2 raw baked potatoes, finely sliced
  • salt
  • fresh ground black pepper
  • ground nutmeg
  • cooking spray
1) Pre-heat oven at 200℃ , spray small / medium baking dish with cooking spray
Slice potato and fennel finely, layer potatoes in a small to medium baking dish, sprinkle with salt, pepper and nutmeg , top with fennel, lay another layer of potatoes, salt , pepper and nutmeg. Finish off with a layer of potatoes.
Pour over the heavy cream, till it just covers the top potatoes .
Bake in oven for 1 hour.
