Creamy leek and chicken dish

Delicious and easy dish. Great mild dish, great for friday night dish, serve with fresh salad and white rice.

  • 500 g leeks, frozen or fresh
  • ½ cup white wine
  • 1 1 chicken bouillon cubes
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 cups whipping cream
  • 8 chicken drumsticks, with skin
  • salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tsp cornstarch
  • water
1) Heat oil on pan add leeks and sauté for 5 min
Add white wine and let it simmer for 10 minutes on low heat
Add bouillon cube and let it dissolved. Add whipping cream and chicken drumsticks, cover and let it simmer for 20 minutters
Turn drumsticks and let it simmer uncovered for 20 min.
Mix cornstarch and a little bit of water in a small bowl. Place the drumsticks on a plate and set aside.
Add the cornstarch to the leek sauce and let it thicken till your liking , return drumstick to sauce and serve with white rice and salad.
