Foolproof Roast Beef

Easy and foolproof way to make the perfect roast beef. Serve with potatoes, gravy and a big green salad

  • 53 oz topside of beef
  • 10 grams butter
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • Freshly ground pepper
  • 1 dl water

1) Brown the meat on all sides in browned butter in a frying pan - about 3 min. in total.

2) Add roast beef in a small roasting pan add a meat thermometer into the roast. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.

3) Pour the water to the frying pan and let it boil for a couple of minutes. Add the water to the roasting pan .

4) Cook the middle of the oven 175ºC ( about 45 min or to the meat core temperature is 55º )

5) Take the roast out and let it rest about 30 min cover in foil.
