Homemade condensed cream of chicken soup

If you don’t have access to a condense chicken soup, why not make it yourself ?

  • 1 ⅓ cup chicken stock
  • ¼ cup heavy cream
  • cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon freshly-ground black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • teaspoon celery seed (optional)
  • teaspoon dried thyme
  • ¼ cup diced cooked chicken

1) Combine chicken broth and ½ cup of heavy cream, bring to a boil.

Mix seasonings with flower and whisk the rest of the heavy cream in to think and smooth.

Spoon by spoon mix in the flour in the chicken stock, whisk continuously so it don’t get burned for approx. 10 min. Set aside.
