Great quick sandwich with the leftover roast beef from yesterday
2 Sandwich

  • Leftover roast beef
  • 2 cans French onion soup
  • Gruyere cheese, to cover both top and bottom of the baguets
  • 200 g Mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 big baguette

1) Heat the can of French soup in a sauce pan. Add mushrooms on a frying pan with a little oil or butter , cook until brown and ½ in size. Set aside

Sandwich:
½ the baguette lengthwise , place cheese on bottom half, add mushrooms and add cheese on the top half, pop in the a pre-heated oven till cheese had melted . Take baguette out of the oven, add sliced roast beef on top of the mushrooms/cheese and add the top half.

3)
Cut the baguette in 4 and serve the sandwich with a nice hot bowl of french soup to dip your sandwich in.
