Rib cheese sandwich

Just a easy and absolutely delicious way to make a great rib sandwich
4 servings
  • For patties
  • 1 ½ lbs. boneless pork 'picnic' or pork butt, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 teaspoons kosher salt
  • 4 slices of cheese
  • 4 tbps Hellman's Light Mayonnaise
  • 2 large dill pickles, each cut into 4 lengthwise slices
  • 1 cup sliced yellow onion
  • 4 soft hoagie-style deli buns, split lengthwise
1) To make the patties: Place ingredients for the patty mixture into a food processor and process until mostly smooth, about 1 minute.
Line a sheetpan with parchment paper and spray lightly with oil spray.
Divide patty mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them oval or accounting to the bun you have. Place onto parchment, spaced apart
To cook the patties: Preheat the oven to 400℉/ 200℃ about 6- 10 minute or no longer red inside. When there are 2 minutes left of your cooking time , place 2 slices of cheese on top of patties and cook 2 more minutes.

Assamble : Spread ½ tbsp may on each ½ bun, top with lettuce, pattie, dill pickles , onions, and then the top bun
