Spicy chicken thighs cordon bleu

Juicy and tangy chicken cordon bleu, with a touch of hotness to it , absolute a must eat for people that love a bit spicy food

  • 8 boneless chicken thighs
  • 4 pieces ham
  • 1 ½ cup of your favourite cheese, shredded
  • 1 fresh jalapeño pepper, sliced
  • Flour
  • 3 tbsp All Purpose Flour
  • 1 tbsp Onion powder
  • 1 tbsp Garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • Cooking spray
  • Toothpicks
1) Pre-heat oven to 190ºC
In a bowl mix all flour ingredients
Dredge both sides of of chicken thighs place 4 pieces skinside down in a baking dish sprayed with cooking spray.
Put a small amount on top of each chicken breast , add ham, jalapeño and more cheese and another pice of chicken thigh with skin side up, secure with a toothpick(s).
Cook for 20-25 minutes (depending of your oven ) , and turn the chicken cordon bleu and cook another 20-25 minutes.
Serve with a delicious crispy cucumber salad
